Common questions
I can't hear the beat
Binaural beats need stereo headphones, with one tone in each ear. Check that both earbuds are in and that Mono Audio is off in your iPhone's Settings, under Accessibility, then Audio & Visual.
No headphones? In the player, switch the beat mode to Isochronic. It uses a single pulsing tone that works through a speaker.
The sound stopped on its own
Check the session timer in the player. When the time is up, Node fades the sound out on purpose. Choose a longer length, or the ∞ option to keep it running.
Node keeps playing with your screen locked, and it plays even with the silent switch on. If it still stops early, email us and let us know which session you were playing.
Signing in and signing out
You sign in to Node with Apple or Google. Your listening history, saved sessions and settings stay on your phone.
To sign out, tap your initials at the top right of the home screen to open Account, then choose Sign Out.
Deleting your account
Tap your initials at the top right of the home screen to open Account, then choose Delete Account. Deleting the app removes everything Node has stored on your phone. Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold and why.
Sending feedback or a feature idea
We would love to hear it. Open Account and choose Send Feedback, or email support@nodesound.app.
Is Node safe for me to use?
For most people it is quiet sound at a comfortable volume. Keep the volume low, never listen while driving, and if you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, check with a doctor first. The full guidance is in our Terms of Use.
